German publisher and developer Daedalic Entertainment today released a first snippet from the soundtrack to fantasy adventure game The Whispered World. This taste of the elaborate music is taken from the game’s second chapter, where Sadwick explores a mysterious island at night, finding treasure hunters, monks and a dormant factory.

The soundtrack to the game’s fairy-tale story about melancholic hero Sadwick was produced by Periscope Studio. All four chapters of the game feature their own distinct sound, recorded with live musicians from a classical ensemble.
