Bloomberg is reporting that Activision is being sued by some of its shareholders. The legal move is in response to the merger with Vivendi, for which the stockholders believe Activision did not receive the best possible deal. The merger will see Vivendi with a 52 percent stake in the combined company titled Activision Blizzard, an "unfavorable minority position" for Activision investors the suit contends.
"The merger, stock purchase and tender offer, working in concert, convey control of Activision to Vivendi but fail to offer the Activision stockholders an opportunity to realize a true control premium for their stock," read the complaint.
