In an interview with Yahoo! News, Rockstar Games vice-president and GTA IV writer Dan Houser spoke at length about the next much anticipated installment in the GTA franchise. He details the extra features that Rockstar North is bringing to the latest Grand Theft Auto title to make it even more realistic -- including elements such as drunken driving and strip clubs, which Houser morns will likely lead to another round of controversy for the studio and the franchise.
"I expect it because we’ve had so much of it in the past," said Houser. "I wish people would treat video games the same as other media. They seem to not want to do that for reasons that I don’t understand. It’s a convenient enemy for people."
GTA IV stirred up some minor controversy from New York officials when its first trailer showed off a Liberty City that more realistically recreated the Big Apple than ever before.
