In an effort to clear up who is or isn’t attending this year’s E3, the Entertainment Software Association (ESA) today sent out a list of game companies that are definitely on board. As has been previously noted, Activision and Vivendi are no longer ESA members and will not be attending. Although LucasArts has left the ESA as well, the company is indeed maintaining an E3 presence. Noticeably absent from the list below is id Software, which previously told Joystiq that they hadn’t decided whether they will be attending.
The ESA said it expects additional companies to sign up for E3 in the near future. "Clearly companies and attendees value what the E3 Summit offers that nobody else can—a professional and efficient experience conducive to getting the business of the video game industry done, " said ESA CEO Michael Gallagher. "This continued support validates the Summit and is a testament to both the high level of interest and the important role it plays in our industry."
